BM Dublin Software Lab - Public Transport Directions

This page gives directions how to get to the IBM Dublin SoftwareLab in their new premises at the IBM Technology Campus when using public transport.

The best way to get to the IBM Dublin Technology Campus by public transport is by using the 38 or 38A bus service. These services both make two stops within the campus, the terminus is the second stop and this is directly outside building 6 which is home to the Dublin Software Lab. Both services operate from Hawkins Street in the city centre. The 38A service is more rapid because it makes fewer stops and by-passes Castlekncok. Be careful not to take the 38B or 38C service, neither of these comes the full way to the IBM campus. Click here for further details and a schedule. Click here to see the location of the bus stop.

For a trial period, a number of busses on the 220 service will cover an extended route from Santry to the IBM campus. However, this service will be reviewed and may be terminated depending upon the level of demand. If you intend using this service, please contacts Dublin Bus to check if it is still available.

If you are coming by rail, you can connect with the 38 bus service which has a stop outside the Castleknock suburban rail station. Visit http://www.irishrail.ie to get more details on rail services to and from Castleknock.

If you travelling from Swords or the airport., you can use the URBUS service to get as far as the Blanchardstown Centre where you can connect with the 38 bus. You should be aware that URBUS is a private bus service and Dubin Bus commuter tickets are not accepted.
