This course covered data architecture and information management. It
included data analysis and design, file organisation, database design,
features of a DBMS, data integrity and security,

part of this course. I designed, constructed amd managed a Domino based web site where my students
dowloaded their assignments, submitted their work and learned of their
marks.
- From 1992 to 1994 I taught a course Software Engineering
Through C. This was a course organised jointly by Digital and Galway Mayo Institute of Technology.
Students study C programming as well as some of the basic techniques
of Software Engineering.
- From 1986 to 1988, I taught a course entitled Introduction to
Magnetic Recording. This was an internal Digital training course.
It
covered some of the theory of magnetics and how this applied to
magnetic recording. It was attended by engineers and technicians who
worked with disk and tape storage devices.
